Mycoworks

Mycoworks is a California-based biotech company creating vegetal leather from mycelium, a revolutionary biomaterial derived from fungi. They approached us with a clear ambition: to reposition the brand at the forefront of the fashion industry.

They came with a strong point of view, captured in their vision "Grow the future of materials" and an aspiration to become the MTV of biotech: culturally relevant, expressive, and impossible to ignore.

We developed a vibrant, ever-evolving identity system that bridges nature and technology. The logo, inspired by the structure of mycelium fibres, is designed prioritising recognisability over readability, allowing it to function as a bold, iconic element across the identity.

The layout system is built around four foundational pillars that define the Mycoworks ecosystem: Nature, Mycelium, Objects, and People. The brand comes to life through the interplay of these layers, creating a flexible yet cohesive visual language.
